Rebecca (Becs) has extensive experience in the sports industry and her 27+ year career has seen her work with many high-profile brands to create collaborative partnerships that make a difference. Rebecca went on to set up her first business in 2008 and is both Founder and MD of Breathe Unity, which offers bespoke sports PR services and partnerships for the sports industry. In addition to her work with One Running Movement, Becs is a Director of Shrewsbury Half Marathon.
Becs is passionate about helping people connect, inspiring a healthy lifestyle and endorsing the power of sport to enhance people’s lives. She is also committed to making a difference for future generations by creating a collaborative approach to sport within the industry, and this has led her to join forces with Joe Williams to co-found One Running Movement. One Running Movement is gaining huge momentum as a nationwide movement with dedicated cumulative running events encouraging schools, children, young people, families, siblings and adults to #MoveForLife.
Becs commitment to make a difference to current and future generations by working as one has been widely recognised. She been invited to attend and speak at many industry conferences, gatherings, GTM’s and at two REACH Women’s Leadership summits. Becs received the award for “Difference Maker” presented by Levis in October 2019 for her work and making a difference to peoples lives through sport. Becs was asked to become a Fellow of The RSA in March 2020, The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, in light of her commitment to utilising the power of sport to improve health, strengthen resilience and increase confidence, through Co-Founding of One Running Movement and many years of working in the Sports Industry helping to inspire others.
