We are proud to have adventure runner Nikki Love as an Ambassador for Schools Running Movement with “Run with Nikki” in 2020.

Nikki is a fantastic example of how anyone can start running and achieve incredible things if they put their mind to it. She’s a great role model for the many children involved in Schools Running Movement and is perfect inspiration for young runners.

Nikki is best known for completing 63 marathons in 63 days across the UK in 2017. She then ran 750 miles around Ireland in 2018. 2020 will see her take on her biggest challenge yet: her ‘Run Across Australia’ World Record attempt. Setting off on 1st August this summer, Nikki is aiming to run from Perth to Sydney in 63 days. She will average 40 miles a day in the heat and sand of this vast country, before arriving in Bondi Beach.

Nikki is a great believer in getting children active and she regularly speaks at primary schools, where she tells the children where her feet have taken her. Her aim is to inspire children to ‘chase their own extraordinary’ and show them that they can do anything they want in life.

Nikki’s adventures in Australia will form part of a special Summer Running Challenge with Schools Running Movement in 2020, so that children across the world can be a part of her inspiring journey this summer. We’ll be bringing you more details on this shortly.
