    A tree will be planted in Yorkshire by Planet-U Energy, with a biodegradable plaque featuring your name, a name you dedicate the tree to or in memory of a loved one = you decide

    Decide the distance you pledge to run, walk or move to = 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Marathon, complete this before 31st Match 2022

    Includes a wooden medal that is sustainable & ethically sourced

    Includes medal packaging and postage to a UK address for FREE

    After you have bought this place or places you will be contacted and be given an entry code for you to gift to someone, they will be able to enter using the code for Adult or Child / Children entry

    International postage options are now available at checkout

    You can enter as many adults and children / young adults in your family as you like, minimum entry for family is one adult (age 17+) and one child / young adult (age 16 and under)

    Adult places (age 17+) can be added at £12 pp.

    Child / young adult places (age 16 and under) can be added at £6 pp.

    ***Once you have ordered your place / places to gift you will be contacted with a code / codes to issues as gifts for entry***

    Everyone receives the same rewards and the same donations (£2 per entry) goes to charities Samaritans and Surfers Against Sewage equally.

    Charity partners for this event are Samaritans and Surfers Against Sewage

    £2 per entry (£1 each) will be donated to these environmental and mental health charities

Choose the number of places you want to GIFT, the distance you pledge for your gifted places to run, walk or move to from 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Marathon distances before 31st March 2022 to earn your Run For Climate Change wooden medal and have a tree planted in Yorkshire by Planet-U Energy, complete with biodegradable name plaque and your chosen gifted numbers.

All participants and movers contribute to the following:

1. Helping yourself and your family by being active together
2. Helping the planet by raising awareness of climate change, renewable energy and having a tree planted per mover that takes part
3. Helping communities where the wooden medals are made
4. Helping charities who are committed to climate change and mental health
5. Helping the Run For Climate Change community achieve our collective challenge to run the circumference of the Earth (40,075 km) by December 31st 2022
6. Setting your own family health and fitness goals together, enjoying being active with a family goal in mind

  1. Choose the number of adult and / or child / children places you want to gift
  2. Distances pledged will need to be run before 31st March 2022
  3. Own rules and goals to complete the distance chosen
  4. Proof is not required to be submitted for this event, this is an honesty run
  5. You can complete your chosen distance in one or break it up into a cumulative amount to complete before 31st March 2021
  6. Medals and rewards will be shipped only to a UK or Ireland address for FREE (included in entry fee)
  7. International postage options are available at checkout
  8. Trees will be planted from December onwards, they are being grown at the moment
  9. Name data is shared with Planet-U Energy to order your biodegradable name plaque for your tree or your nominated name or name of your loved one, please enter the name wanted on the biodegradable plaque at checkout
  10. Wooden medal will be sent straight out once registration on the gift code has been completed
  11. Rewards and offer links will be emailed to you at the email address you registered with entry
  12. Anyone entering Run For Climate Change are confirming that they are fit and well enough to do so and are taking part at their own risk
  13. Everyone taking part must abide by any Government guidelines in relation to Covid-19
