SAVE THE CHILDREN
We are very proud to confirm Save the Children as our Official Charity Partner for One Running Movement.
Our partnership over the next two years together focuses on Save the Children’s work helping every child reach their full potential. In the UK and around the world, Save the Children makes sure children stay safe, healthy and keep learning, so they can become who they want to be.
When children have experienced trauma through war and conflict, participating in sport is often their first step towards rebuilding their lives, re-entering the education facilities we provide, and gives them the chance to play, and be children again.
Faisal was born in Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan, after his family fled Syria.
Faisal attends our early learning centre in the camp, and he’ll be starting school next year, so we’re making sure he’s ready to hit the ground running.
£12 could provide an early years book for a child like Faisal attending pre-school in a refugee camp.
£100 could buy interactive games for refugee children like Faisal and his friends to play and learn together
